"FCT Administration to Sanitize Market and Create Parking Space"
In an effort to address the traffic congestion caused by the market's activities, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Administration has announced plans to sanitize the market and create parking space. The Director of the FCT Administration reiterated their commitm
ent to achieving this goal.
The market, which has been causing disruptions to the flow of traffic, will undergo a transformation in line with the vision of the Nyesom Wike-led FCT Administration. The Director emphasized the importance of this initiative in sanitizing the Federal Capital Territory.
In response to the plans, Usman Utaru, speaking on behalf of the traders, expressed gratitude to the FCT Administration for engaging them and informing them of the intended removal of illegal structures in the market. Utaru pledged the traders' support in the sanitation efforts, recognizing the benefits it would bring to them as well.
To facilitate the market cleanup, all attachments will be removed, providing more space for parking. The FCT Administration also assured the affected traders that alternative shops will be arranged for them.
Overall, this initiative aims to address the traffic situation and improve the market's environment for all stakeholders involved.
